While planning a new long sleeve moose design, I showed my wife a few of my past favorites. She pointed to my Moonlit Moose ornament and said, “What about this one?” I hadn’t imagined it as a shirt — but with a few tweaks, it came together beautifully.

The final design features a strong bull moose stepping beyond a circle of deep green pines and a twilight blue sky, framed by a glowing orange full moon. Across the bottom, the words “North of Ordinary” capture the rugged, independent spirit of northern New England.

When I asked friends to help name the design, North of Ordinary was the clear favorite of a handful of choices I listed — and it fits perfectly.

Printed on a soft black long sleeve tee, this piece is a nod to creativity, community, and the places that inspire both.
