A group called the Over the Hill Hikers created the 52-With-A-View ('52 WAV') club as a way to draw attention to New Hampshire's great peaks that have an elevation either close to or above 2,500 feet in elevation. The idea was to create a new hiking list that would compliment the New Hampshire 4000-footers list. The idea caught on, and now hundreds of hikers have completed this special journey.
