A New England twist on a childhood classic — and, depending on who you ask, maybe a shopping list too.

The idea for this design came to me while flipping through a “Learn to Draw Wildlife” book from the 1940s. One page showed a duck, another a moose… and suddenly, I saw it — the perfect Duck Duck Moose. The design is simple but it works and has the vintage-inspired look I try for.

Originally released as a youth t-shirt, it took off right away. Within hours of posting a photo on Facebook I was getting requests for a onesie — turns out several were for the same baby, who ended up with more than one! Since then, I’ve added versions for men, women, youth, toddlers, and infants — so now the whole family can match.

At shows, my wife likes to joke that it doubles as a shopping list for hunters. (We can’t confirm or deny that part — but it sure gets a laugh.)
